Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim has no intention of taking action against several Members of Parliament from the People’s Justice Party (PKR) who hold differing views from him and the party on certain issues.

PKR Information Chief, Datuk Fahmi Fadzil, said that Anwar, who is also the party president, has even urged branch leaders and other PKR members to respect the views expressed by these MPs and to move forward together in strengthening the party.
āThe Prime Minister has stated that for several MPs who have differing views on certain issues, he has no intention of taking any action.”
“They have the right to express their opinions, and the Prime Minister has asked branch leaders and members to understand this matter and to move on,ā he said.

Fahmi, who is also the Minister of Communications, said this when speaking to reporters after a meeting session between the PKR President and Selangor PKR leadership.
