The excitement of finally being someplace you’ve always wanted to always feel good. An Indonesian man recently shared his adventurous night at Taylor Swift’s show in Singapore and let’s just say, he will never forget that historical night.
On his TikTok post @reyrere__, Rey excitedly sang along to “You Belong With Me” with everyone else at the show when Taylor was performing but here’s when things got exciting (and emotional) for Taylor’s die-hard fan – Rey shed tears of happiness. Despite being at the scene, Rey still found the experience surreal.
“I can’t stop crying because this actually happened,” he wrote in his caption.
The slow build-up that led to Rey’s experience on the show was worth it. He spent the last 10 years growing up with Taylor Swift, memorising most of her songs, and a decade later, he finally got to attend The Eras Tour after it was announced last year.
With Rey’s emotions towards his time “spent” with the American pop singer, it certainly did not take him that long to cry.
In a brief conversation with WORLD OF BUZZ, Rey, who attended the show with his friends in Singapore said that apart from his excitement, he got emotional earlier than expected.
“I started crying during the first song itself.”
Imagine a 10-year anticipation and when you finally get to meet your favourite celebrity who has been a major part of your life, it’s understandable to get emotional. Most importantly, Rey enjoyed himself.
“The concert was good! Never in my life have I experienced such a good show!”
Rey also told WORLD OF BUZZ that he has been a hardcore fan of Taylor Swift since 15 years ago, and given his time spent with Taylor’s songs, you can probably relate to his emotional moment in the clip below.

Unfortunately, Taylor Swift skipped Malaysia for her Era’s Tour, prompting many Malaysian fans to seek entertainment with her iconic songs at the show in neighboring countries.
