While the world has no shortage of ridiculously rich tycoons, there’s one thing our planet still doesn’t have. A trillionaire.

But, it looks like it’ll only take another 2 years before the richest person on earth becomes the world’s first trillionaire.

Based on a report by Yahoo! Finance, Tesla and SpaceX founder and CEO, Elon Musk, is well on his way to becoming a trillionaire by 2024.

A new study by Tipalti Approve had compared the net worth of the world’s wealthiest and have made predictions as to how soon their personal valuations will reach 1 trillion dollars. The predictions indicate that Musk will be the first to hit that milestone.

“Since 2017, Musk’s fortune has shown an annual average increase of 129%, which could potentially see him enter the trillion-dollar club in just 2 short years, achieving a net worth of $1.38 trillion (RM5,814,630,000,000)  by 2024 at age 52,”

“SpaceX generates massive incomes by charging governmental and commercial clients to send various things into space, including satellites, ISS supplies and people,” the report shared.

Musk is currently worth $200 billion (RM842,300,000,000), making him the richest man on earth. While Tesla has proven profitable, his SpaceX project is the one that has skyrocketed his net worth into the 12-figure range.

Be right back, going to try and build a rocket.
