Calling all Sheerios! Your beloved redheaded singer is coming to Malaysia this year!
Yes, Ed Sheeran will be holding his second concert on 14 November at the Axiata Arena. Never heard of Axiata Arena? That’s because they were previously known as Putra Indoor Stadium in Bukit Jalil.
The artiste also posted the official announcement on his page a few hours ago, much to the delight of his Malaysian fans.
Tickets to this ginger-haired crooner’s concerts will be available starting 15 May at 10am from www.prworldwidelive.com.
The tickets start from RM198, RM298, RM358 and RM458 but do take note that there GST and ticket fees have not been included. You can call 03-7493 3010 for more information.
This concert is in support of his Divide album, his third and most recent album that was released in early March. Who else is in total fangirl mode right now?
Giving us chart-topping hits such as “Shape of You”, “Castle on the Hill,” and “Perfect”, his album instantly rocketed to the top of charts by selling more than 672,000 copies in Britain alone during the first week of its release.
This achievement has earned his Divide album the title of fastest-selling album by a male solo artiste in Britain.
He first rose to fame when he released an independent record in 2011 and was signed by a major record label in the same year. His debut album, Plus went platinum seven times, successfully cementing his name as a bona fide singer and endearing him to many fans.
His previous songs, “Thinking Out Loud”, “Sing” and “Photograph” are crowd favourites and often covered by many amateur singers. Ed Sheeran made his first appearance in Malaysia back in 2015, so it’s high time he made another one!
Are you excited? Because we definitely are!
