Giving us chart-topping hits such as “Shape of You”, “Castle on the Hill,” and “Perfect”, his album instantly rocketed to the top of charts by selling more than 672,000 copies in Britain alone during the first week of its release.

This achievement has earned his Divide album the title of fastest-selling album by a male solo artiste in Britain.

He first rose to fame when he released an independent record in 2011 and was signed by a major record label in the same year. His debut album, Plus went platinum seven times, successfully cementing his name as a bona fide singer and endearing him to many fans.

His previous songs, “Thinking Out Loud”, “Sing” and “Photograph” are crowd favourites and often covered by many amateur singers. Ed Sheeran made his first appearance in Malaysia back in 2015, so it’s high time he made another one!
