A MyVi driver in Dungun, Terengganu recently showed everyone that the King will always be a King.
In a viral TikTok video by @miey1101, a MyVi driver is spotted bracing through the floodwater, despite having half their car submerged. The driver confidently manned the car and drove it into the nearby gas station while other drivers and motorcyclists watched in awe.
Some even took out their devices to capture the “majestic” moment.
The driver continued to “snorkel” through the floodwater until he made it to the gas station. However, the driver immediately drove out of the gas station and headed into the main road again, which was still flooded.
WORLD OF BUZZ has reached out to @miey1101 for further information, but we have yet to receive a response. At the time of writing (December 2), the video has amassed a massive 1.8 million views.
We’re not sure if the driver would have to spend on possible damages but this is not the King’s first rodeo on the road. In previous years during the flood, many Perodua drivers attempted to soldier through floodwaters and made it out with the engine still running.
Previously, we also shared why most Perodua vehicles (yes, the King included) can go through floodwaters. The key lies in the height of the air intake system, and Axia, for instance, can brace through floodwaters as deep as 2.5 feet.
However, it is highly advisable to NOT drive through flooded roads.
