A man from Qingdao, Shandong, China wrote a handwritten letter to his neighbour one day with a ‘special request’, but received a savage reply instead.

It turns out that the man had a wife who was pregnant and had asked his neighbour upstairs to turn off his WiFi as he was worried that the ‘radiation’ would affect his unborn baby, according to Oriental Daily.

In the letter that was pasted on his neighbour’s door, the man wrote:

“Hello! I’m your new neighbour from unit 301 downstairs. Here’s the thing: My wife is pregnant and she’s afraid of harmful radiation from the WiFi.”

“Please turn off your WiFi when you’re not at home and when you’re sleeping! Hope to have your cooperation!”

The family was dumbfounded after reading the note. The neighbour’s son then wrote back:

“Uncle and Auntie, I have to take online classes during the day and my dad has to work at night. Our family cannot turn off the Internet.”

“Why don’t you move?”

Netizens applauded their reply, saying that they should not tolerate this kind of neighbour, reported Shihua Daily.

  • “Why don’t you unplug your microwave and refrigerator?”
  • “Don’t have children, brain damage will be inherited.”
  • “People with this level of IQ and knowledge should not poison the next generation.”
  • “Just move to the forest.”

What would you have replied if your neighbour made such a request? Let us know in the comments below!
