All you want to do at a concert is to enjoy yourself as much as possible with the crowd who share a similar taste in music with you. To leave earlier would be “potong stim” because you’ll probably only be seeing the performer once in a lifetime.
However, a large group of people had to leave Ed Sheeran’s show in KL before his performance was over. In a viral TikTok post by @lbxd_8, one of the concertgoers, Leila expressed her shock to see another group of concertgoers leaving the stadium in Bukit Jalil when Ed was still performing.
“Why are so many people leaving halfway through Ed Sheeran’s concert?”
In Leila’s post, she said that the group of people left before the best part of the show.
Speaking to WORLD OF BUZZ, Leila said she was initially unsure why the people left the scene when the concert was even over. However, she was told that the people who left earlier had no choice.
They didn’t want to miss the train back home.
“I was told that the organisers didn’t request for the train to operate for longer hours like what they did for Coldplay’s show. So, people were rushing to get back and to beat the traffic.”
Leila also told WORLD OF BUZZ that the people left 45 minutes before the show ended, and after Ed sang “Perfect”. Despite the lesser crowd in the 2nd half of the show, Leila enjoyed the show.
“I enjoyed every minute of it. Ed Sheeran has always been 1 of my favourites since I was in secondary school, so I was singing my heart out to every song!”
We’re glad to know that many of Ed’s fans enjoyed the show, but we feel sorry for those who had to leave earlier due to transportation issues.
@lbxd_8 everyone heard perfect and just left before all the best songs?? #edsheeran #edsheerankl #edsheeranmalaysia #fyp #malaysia #concert
If you were there on Saturday night, how did you find the show? Were you among the people who had to leave earlier?
