Snazz it up at the Distinguished Gentleman’s Ride 2023, a charity motorcycle event happpening on 20 & 21 May 2023 @ LaLaport KL, Bukit Bintang to raise awareness and funds for prostate cancer research and men’s mental health.
Inspired by Don Draper from Mad Men astriding a classic bike in his finest suit, this debonair event is an international affair that has been uniting classic and vintage motorcycle riders all over the world since 2012 for this grand cause.
From motorcycle road trips to live music performances and flea markets, here’s every exquisite detail you should know about this classy occasion, in collaboration with the Movember Foundation:
1. Riding for a good cause
The belle of the Distinguished Gentleman’s Ride is definitely the motorcycle road trip on Sunday (21 May), as you dash through highways and city roads with fellow snappily-dressed gentlefolk in your very own motorcycle.
This year’s route will be around 10km long, with the flag-off happening at the city centre, followed by the historic Dataran Merdeka, before arriving at the finish line in LaLaport KL.

2. A historical global biking event 11 years and running!
Whether you wanna take your bike out for a noble cause or you simply want to check out this dashing international event, the Distinguished Gentleman’s Ride 2023 is the place to be for spreading awareness on the importance of men’s well-being.
The Distinguished Gentleman’s Ride started out with 3,000 well-dressed riders across 64 cities in 2012. Fast forward to 2022, the bespoke event has grown worldwide with a whopping number of 94,000 riders across 804 cities (including KL!), successfully raising US$6.04 million!
It looks like lightning will be striking twice for this year’s edition, as approximately 340,000 smartly-dressed, classic and vintage riders are expected to ride across 121 countries on 21 May! So come and be a part of history!
