According to Amyza, when the teacher asked about the Parent-Teacher Association (PIBG) fees, the uncle immediately offered to pay on behalf of the student’s family, saying, “No problem, we have to help each other.”

“This photo is special because this Chinese uncle took the time to go to school and sign the report card for his neighbour’s child, who is Indian. I never even thought about helping a neighbour’s child in this way, let alone one from a different race,” Amyza wrote.

She added that she was deeply touched by the uncle’s act of kindness, saying it showed her that Malaysians are truly people who love peace.

“It was a little awkward at first, but when the teacher asked about the PIBG fees, the uncle said, ‘It’s okay, I’ll pay.’ The teacher told him to inform the parents, and he just casually replied, ‘No problem. We have to help each other.’ It was incredibly heartwarming.”

Speaking to WORLD OF BUZZ, Amyza expressed her hope that all Malaysians will continue to live in peace and harmony, regardless of race.

Meanwhile, netizens quickly took to the comment section to share their thoughts and reactions.
