The weather in Malaysia has become quite unpredictable. One moment, it’s blazing hot, and the next, it’s pouring rain. If we’re particularly unlucky, we might even face a sudden storm.
While rain can sometimes be a blissful relief, a bad storm can quickly turn things for the worse. @tanteesticduo took to TikTok to share a glimpse of the stormy weather she encountered at her home on March 25th in Petaling Jaya.
“This is not good…”
In the video, a woman is seen trying to record her dog watching the rain when it suddenly turns into a raging storm. The weather quickly goes out of control.
Speaking to WORLD OF BUZZ, @tanteesticduo shared that her dog wanted to play outside despite the rain. But when the wind picked up, she quickly pulled her dog inside and took shelter in the house.
The weather was so bad that her neighbour’s roof fell off!
@tanteesticduo continued to share that she saw her neighbor’s roof fly off and hit the electric fence on the road outside. She quickly went downstairs to see what was happening but didn’t dare to go outside, so she started filming from inside her house.
“While it was raining, I decided to take a nap in my room. I closed the window but didn’t lock it,” she added.
She also mentioned that her rambutan tree fell right after her neighbour’s roof flew away.
“Close your windows!”
@tanteesticduo mentioned that during the storm, her mom reminded her to close her bedroom window, to which she assured her it was already closed.
“The funniest part was my mom kept shouting, ‘Close your windows in your room!’ But I told her they were already closed,” she said.
However, at some point, the wind blew her bedroom window open, soaking the entire room. Her mom started screaming when she saw the mess.
All the trees that fell ended up blocking the roads
@tanteesticduo also revealed that because of the storm, many roads were blocked by fallen trees, causing damage to restaurant banners.
She mentioned that when the storm stopped, she tried to go out for dinner but couldn’t because many roads were blocked and closed off. It was impossible to drive through or around the broken trees, so she had to return home instead.
Netizens started flooding the comment section to share their thoughts and reactions to the situation.
