Last week, a Bazaar vendor in Jalan Tuanku Abdul Rahman, KL, viciously attacked and bit a DBKL officer who told the vendor to move her truck that was blocking the traffic.
The attack happened when the officers wanted to confiscate her truck, and the vendor was not happy about it.

Dang Wangi District Police Chief ACP Sulizmie Affendy Sulaiman said the 30-year-old local woman was charged at the court on March 8 under Section 186 of the Penal Code for obstructing the duties of the officers, reported Malaysia Gazette.
A video of the incident went viral on social media showing the female vendor struggling with several DBKL enforcement officers who were carrying out their duties. In the 30-second video, the female vendor is seen screaming while three female enforcement officers try to calm her down. One of the officers was bitten.

The vendor was fined RM3,000 by the court after pleading guilty to the charge.
On the other hand, the investigation papers against three other local male suspects aged between 15 and 39 who obstructed DBKL officers at Masjid India in an isolated case will be referred to the Deputy Public Prosecutor for further action.
