One day without the water supply is tough enough, let alone one week. However, residents of a condominium in KL had no choice but to use the public restroom near the pool after nine days without a water supply!

According to a report by Sin Chew Daily, the water supply stopped on July 10, and the situation continued for more than nine days.

Some of the residents had to be in line as early as 5 AM to use the facility

“We thought the matter would be resolved after we lodge a complaint to the management of the condo, but that wasn’t the case,” said the residents.

The condo consists of five blocks—A, B, C, D, and E—and residents said only those in Block A and B were unaffected. The remaining blocks, however, involved over 2,000 units of residents who had to rely on the restroom, and some got in line before sunrise to avoid “the peak hours.”

Each block consists of 54 floors.

The water management company also visited the condo, but the situation did not improve. They deployed water 3 water trucks to cater to the residents, but it was not enough.

As of July 20, the water supply had slowly resumed, but the pressure was still low, and the water was murky.

The condo’s management was unsure about the source of the problem. However, they will continue to monitor the situation and work with the water management company to identify and rectify the issue.
