Yesterday, we shared the amazing achievement of Julea Qiestyna Abu Zar, a UiTM Perak foundation in accountancy student who recorded the second-highest exam score for the Recording Financial Transactions (FA1) in the world and the highest in Malaysia.
Well, it looks like UiTM has been producing top-notch students in accountancy recently as it was revealed that another of its students has also scored one of the highest scores in the world during the recent March 2023 Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) examinations.
The UiTM Shah Alam student in ACCA (Professional Development Programme), Danish Zafran bin Bazam made our country proud after recording the third-highest exam score for Paper Performance Management. He also recorded the highest score in Malaysia for the same exam.
In a Facebook post, Deputy Prime Minister Datuk Seri Zahid Hamidi congratulated both Danish Zafran and Julea Qiestyna for their feats.
He also revealed that both students have been named ACCA World Prize Winners and that both are currently receiving scholarships from MARA.
Furthermore, Danish Zafran has been named Top ACCA Prize Winner for his accomplishments.
Zahid Hamidi, who is also the Minister of Rural and Regional Development asserted,
“Congratulations to the two MARA-sponsored students for being named ACCA World Prize Winners… May these accomplishments become an inspiration to all other MARA scholarship holders. All the best!”
In case you didn’t know, MARA or Majlis Amanah Rakyat is a federal agency under the purview of Zahid Hamidi’s ministry.
Awesome! Thank you Danish Zafran and Julea Qiestyna for making our country proud <3
