Months ago, local model Siew Pui Yi announced that she was looking for a partner and expectedly, Malaysian men rushed to send her their resumes in hopes that Pui Yi would select them to be the lucky one.

Most of us are aware of how well-known Pui Yi is, although sometimes not for the best reasons. However, Malaysian men that reached out to her were not the only males to do so. Surprisingly, Pui Yi found her fame last year in America when rapper Lil Wayne decided to slide into her DM.

If you’re expecting to see screenshots of a long conversation between Lil Wayne & Pui Yi, then that’s not the case. When the rapper reached out to Pui Yi back in May 2021, he subtly hinted at the latter that he had his eyes on her simply by sending the eyes emoji, followed by a black heart.

Pui Yi simply responded with another emoji and Lil Wayne immediately expressed what he had in mind.

‘I want you.’

Well, that escalated quickly.

According to a report by the New York Post, a former NFL Super Bowl Winner also decided to slide into PuiYi’s DM. However, the content of the message was not revealed.

Since then, Lil Wayne hasn’t commented on the matter but Pui Yi’s representative, however, was shocked when she received the screenshot of the DM that showed Lil Wayne reaching out.

“It blew my mind when she forwarded me the DM from Lil Wayne, but I think social media is just the direct way to do it.”” said Pui Yi’s rep.

It’s unlikely for something to bloom between Lil Wayne & Pui Yi, but we never know. What sort of ‘melodrama’ do you think could be brewing when Lil Wayne reached out to her?
