“Excellent safety culture & low incident rates” – AirAsia Ranks 12th in the List of Top 20 Safest Low-Cost Airlines!

It’s safe to say that when we’re planning a vacation to fly somewhere, our first thought would be AirAsia! Lucky for all of us Malaysians, AirAsia has made it in the list of Top 20 Safest Low-Cost Airlines, 2024!

Seasia recently published a ranking infographic sourced from CNTraveler, highlighting that three airlines from Southeast Asia, namely VietJet, AirAsia, and Cebu Pacific, have secured positions on the list.

AirAsia secured the 12th place!

According to the list, AirAsia has officially been ranked 12th as one of the safest low-cost airlines globally.

However, the top spot was claimed by Australia’s Jetstar group, with London-based airlines EasyJet and Ryanair closely following in second and third place, respectively.

With only 3 airlines from Southeast Asia made it in the list!

VietJet, the dynamic airline based in Vietnam, secures the 8th spot on the list. Following closely behind is Cebu Pacific, a source of pride for the Philippines, which ranks 13th, just behind Malaysia.

Additionally, it’s worth noting that these airlines offer excellent safety cultures and maintain low incident rates, according to reports by CNTraveler.
