It’s no secret that us Malaysians love our Abang-Abang Bomba.
This is thanks to their valiant efforts in helping not just animals in need but also people in tough spots.
UtusanTV took to their TikTok page to showcase a team from the Fire and Rescue Department of Malaysia as they rescue an elderly homeless man who had fallen into a 2 meter deep drain in Kajang today (October 3).
UtusanTV wrote, “An incident near the shops at Jalan Tun Abdul Aziz, Kajang, at 8:24am, this morning.”
In the video, the team of firefighters could be seen trying hard to open the grate to the drain.
After several tries, they managed to pry open the grate and one of the firefighters jumped into the drain to help the elderly homeless man inside.
Together, they managed to get the elderly homeless man out of the drain, who could then be seen weakly walking away with one of the firefighters, presumably to get medical attention.
We genuinely hope that he’s okay, and that he gets back onto his feet soon.
