For many of us, Cinderella, and many other Disney princess movies, are a part of our childhood. Cinderella is known to be a hardworking woman who eventually marries her prince. I think some of us have probably also dreamt of wearing beautiful glass shoes and a stunning blue dress as she does.
But what if I tell you, that a gory, horror version of Cinderella movie is in the making? According to Bloody Disgusting, a unique spin on the Cinderella movie “Cinderella’s Curse” is currently in the making. The film will be releasing very soon in October 2023.
The producer and director Louisa Warren told Bloody Disgusting, “This an incredibly unique spin on the Cinderella we all love and know. There are going to be some truly horrific deaths by her hands.”
He also added, “I think the gore hounds are in for a treat in my dark retelling.” The film is written by Harry Boxley, and will feature actors Kelly Rian Sanson, Chrissie Wunna, and Danielle Scott. Filming will start next month in the United Kingdom.
Although not much about the movie plot has been revealed yet, a gory and horror version of the sweet old Cinderella movie definitely sounds intriguing.
