A recent video has been making waves online, showing a student being scolded by a group of female teachers, with the girl seen crying uncontrollably while being questioned.
The clip has since been reshared by MYNEWSHUB, and the girl’s mother has taken to social media to explain what happened from her daughter’s perspective.
“The teacher insulted me”
In the video, the mother shared how her 9-year-old daughter came home from school crying. The standard three student later claimed she was badly scolded by a few teachers in front of her classmates.
“The teacher scolding me is okay, but she went as far as insulting me. She always likes to scold people, and she’s a female teacher too,” the girl said.
Following that, the mother tried to reach out to one of the teachers to arrange a meeting, but instead, the teacher sent her a video of the incident that was recorded by one of the teachers.
“Don’t accuse the teacher of anything!”
Based on the video, the teachers can be seen trying to get a confession from the girl at the school canteen after she allegedly accused one of them of something she didn’t do.
“Did I do it or not? If not, say it loudly. From now on, don’t accuse your teacher of anything. If you don’t want to go to school, tell your mother. But don’t accuse your teacher of doing this or that to you. If you keep accusing your teacher, your mother will come and attack,” the teacher said.
After receiving the video from the teacher, the mother questioned why the teacher was avoiding meeting her, and upon reviewing the video, she said,
“This is not the way to treat someone’s child. You didn’t protect my daughter’s emotions. You humiliated her to the point she’s now afraid to go to school. You even made the whole class come down to watch her being forced to admit she lied. Why didn’t you give her a chance to explain? Why not talk things through calmly?”
Despite questioning the teacher, she revealed that she still hasn’t received any explanation for why her daughter was treated that way.
