So if you ever find yourself needing to hang with your squad past midnight or you’re simply craving a yummy supper, the options below are sure to pique your interest! ?

1. Mee Tarik – Chinatown

Of course, we had to mention this viral spot! This Chinese-Muslim hand-pulled noodle spot is famous for its comforting tastes and the fact that they’re open till the early morning. It gets very crowded here so if you come past midnight, you might have to wait for a table.

Here you can enjoy their Beef Ramen, a clean beef broth taste with beef slices and a side of chilli oil. Sounds like a good meal to end the night with!

Location: 36, Jalan Sultan, City Centre, 50000 Kuala Lumpur, Wilayah Persekutuan Kuala Lumpur

2. Warisan Sambal Opah, Nasi Lemak

Being Malaysian, of course, we had to also include nasi lemak as well. This mouth-watering nasi lemak joint can be quite a drive for those in KL but those residing in Subang know how Warisan Sambal Opah is worth the hype!

1 bungkus of nasi lemak is just RM1!!

Not only does the rice here have the perfect portions of santan, but the amount of lauk dishes offered here is also pretty extensive. The best part is that it’s open till 4am, people. So the next time you’re craving REALLY good nasi lemak late at night, you know where to go!

Location: 2-1, Jalan USJ 9/5p, Subang Business Centre, 47620 Subang Jaya

Operating Hours: Open daily, 5pm – 4am.

Halal Status: Halal

3. Al-Rawsha Restaurant

If you like Middle Eastern food then this one’s for you. Al-Rawsha Restaurant is located between the popular nightlife spot, TREC KL and another eatery that’s open till late, Caffeinees.

It serves good Lebanese food, from Shawarma, Kebabs to Arab lamb rice dishes. Their menu is pretty extensive too so you’ll be spoilt for choice here.

4. Caffeinees

Now if you really are in the lepak mood with your group of friends, we highly suggest Caffeinees. It’s just a short walk from TREC and Al-Rawsha Restaurant. Here you can order a nice cold beer, rent a Sheesha (hookah) and enjoy picking out your orders from the restaurant’s extensive menu.

They serve Asian-Western fusion cuisines and the interior of this restaurant has plenty of comfortable seating. The WiFi here is also pretty good so if you need to burn the midnight oil at a cafe, we suggest you come here!

Location: 16, Jalan Kampung Pandan, Kelab Golf di Raja Selangor, 55000 Kuala Lumpur, Wilayah Persekutuan Kuala Lumpur

Now any avid dim sum lover in KL should know this authentic restaurant that’s been here for decades, and is still standing strong! This OG dim sum spot serves a wide selection with humble portions that cost only RM3.20.

The food here is scrumptious and still worth a visit even after all these years.

Location: No. 223 & 235, 4th Mile, Taman Shanghai, Old Klang Road, 58100 Kuala Lumpur

7. Haidilao

Haidilaio might be a bit pricey to some but we think this restaurant offers exquisite flavours and great services that’s worth the treat! This restaurant was founded in 1994 and is the biggest hotpot chain restaurant to come out of China.

As soon as you sit at your table, waiters will assist in ensuring you feel comfortable in the restaurant by offering a blanket, and hair tie. Pretty special considering most restaurants don’t do that!

You can also request servers to make a special concoction of their secret dipping sauce for you to enjoy your hotpot with. If you have an addiction to spice, we suggest the Mala Milk Broth and if not the tomato soup is great too.

Location: Store locations Level10, Pavillion Elite, 50, Jalan Bukit Bintang, Bukit Bintang, 55100 Kuala Lumpur, Wilayah Persekutuan Kuala Lumpur

Operating Hours: Open daily, 11am – 4am.

For more information: Instagram | Facebook | Website

Halal Status: Non-Halal

We’ve come to the end of this list (so far), folks.
