1. Steven’s Corner @ OUG
A local favorite, you can’t really go wrong with Steven’s! It’s somewhere to bring your buddy that hasn’t really learnt to appreciate a good cheese naan. The naan itself is soft and fluffy with the cheese just right. Not skimpy, but definitely not overpowering.
While people may start saying it’s so basic, well sometimes that’s what’s best. After a long CS:1.6 session at a cc, come out, cheese naan. It’s pure bliss.
P.S. Their burung and roti bakar is fabulous! Do pair it with your order.
2. RSMY @ Setapak
This is where you bring your friends if you want to die of a cheese overdose! Ask any Malaysian who’s been places and he’ll likely preach the word of RSMY to you. Some say they have even seen our Lord and Savior, Cheesus Crust after finishing a plateful!
3. Nathan’s Corner @ OUG
But of course, some people don’t fancy the molten cheese of RSMY but still want to feel the dairy induced coma on the way after a good naan. To those people, I raise Nathan’s cheese naan! They top their naans with cheese after they’ve cooked them, rather than melt them inside the naan! It is glorious!
4. Restoran Murni @ SS2
Now this is a place recommended by a buddy at the office and I’ve yet to go there. Before I kena bash I’ll like to say I trust this guy, he knows his naan.
The dough is very light and the heavy dairy taste from the melted cheese inside complements it well! But go there slightly earlier as it can get rather crowded.
Also, get Milo dinosaur to wash it down!

5. William’s Corner @ Plaza Mayang, SS26
This is also one of Ben’s recommendation, but I have been here! It was quite a while ago so I can’t say about the crowd, but if you’re coming here, grab the GARLIC cheese naan. It adds much more texture and like an aged scotch, best enjoyed on occasion!
Trust me. Do it!
