A total of 33 Selangor FC fans were arrested and brought to the Kuala Terengganu Magistrate’s Court to obtain a remand order following a public order disturbance incident in the district.
The group was escorted to court at 10:15 AM today (2 February) after the viral incident at the Kuala Terengganu Drawbridge at 6:30 PM the previous evening.

According to Harian Metro, Kuala Terengganu District Police Chief ACP Azli Mohd Noor stated that the 33 individuals were among 400 supporters detained at the District Police Headquarters (IPD) to undergo urine screenings.
“We are detaining them to facilitate further investigation into the incident,” he added.

Viral videos show Selangor FC supporters parading across the Kuala Terengganu Drawbridge while waving team flags and lighting flares. The act has drawn widespread condemnation, as the group clearly blocked traffic and disrupted the public.
