Malaysia has recorded a total of 21 new Covid-19 cases as of 20 July bringing the total number of active cases in the country to 122, with three in the intensive care unit and one needing breathing assistance.
Among the 21 cases, 15 are local cases while six are import cases.
Two new recoveries have also been recorded while the death toll remains at 123.
One new cluster has also been detected at the Kluang Old Folks’ Home involving 13 individuals – 12 locals and one foreigner, according to the Ministry of Health.
Meanwhile, one new case was detected at the Novgorod PUI Cluster. The new case in this cluster is classified as symptomatic and was a close contact with the index case. The infected individual is now being treated at the Sungai Buloh Hospital.
No new cases in other clusters.
