How do you sit still and keep calm when robberies are constantly happening in your area? Malaysians are urging PDRM to take action after 2 robberies happened in 2 days in Klang.
2 videos of robberies have circulated on social media these couple of days, with the first victim being an aunty who came out from a mini market, and another 5 victims in their house.
Robbery 1
In the video, an aunty was headed to her car after coming out from a mini market but little did she know, the robbers in the car just behind her had been targeting her. The man in the passenger seat immediately came out of the car and tried to snatch her handbag.
A good samaritan immediately came to the rescue but to no avail. The robbers managed to escape with her handbag.
According to a police statement by PDRM in Klang Utara, the incident took place in Jalan Mohtar, Kapar, Klang around 7:30 pm on Thursday (16 February). PDRM also said that the robber wore a face mask, and a hat, and was carrying a machete. A Honda City was also used to carry out the crime.
Robbery 2

On Friday (17 February), another robbery happened at a house in Taman Petaling, Klang around 1 pm, where 5 masked robbers attacked a family of 5.
Their Proton Waja was parked in the alleyway and the men broke into the house through the back door. The family members are aged between 38 and 70, and 4 of them had their hands tied and their mouths covered. One of the victims was not tied due to age factor.
In the meantime, a police statement revealed that another victim at the house, who is 45 years old was hurt in multiple ways by the robbers.
- Beaten at her head with the back of a machete
- Beaten with a wood stick at her body
- Getting kicked at her nose
The suspects then went into all the rooms and took away cash of RM4,000, jewellery worth RM20,000, as well as phones of different brands before fleeing through the backdoor.
PDRM has managed to locate the car at Taman Desawan, Klang but unfortunately, there were no signs of the robbers. PDRM also revealed that the registration number of the car turned out to be fake.
In both cases, the suspects were all armed and dangerous. Regardless, PDRM assured the people that investigations are being carried out to hunt down the suspects.
