Every day there are Malaysians who are taking our country’s name to the international stage with their extraordinary skills and abilities.
Often times, they also come from all kinds of backgrounds, with some not as fortunate as others.
The I ♥ PAHANG Facebook page took to their profile to introduce Malaysia to Amar, a 17-year-old underprivileged, differently-abled Malaysian, Amar, who will be representing our country at the DIFA (Deaf International Football Association) Deaf Futsal World Cup U21 2023 in Iran.
They wrote, “Congratulations to brother Amar, who was born in Kuantan, Pahang, a hearing and speech impaired 17-year-old, who will represent Malaysia in the DIFA Deaf Futsal World Cup U21 2023 tournament that will take place in Iran.”
“Brother Amar and his family are underprivileged, who receive monthly assistance from the Council of Religion of Islam and Malay Custom for the State of Pahang. Both of brother Amar’s parents are also hearing and speech impaired.”
And here’s why you should never underestimate someone just because they are differently-abled. Amar has been dominating the futsal tournaments with goal after goal!
“For the record, brother Amar has scored 20 goals in 2 SEA Games and World Cup U21 tournaments. Hopefully, brother Amar’s success will be an inspiration for other peers.”
Should you want to make a monetary contribution to help Amar, you can do so at:

We can’t wait to see Amar score more goals and make us all proud!
