Remember a few days ago we shared the story of a Sarawakian SPM student whose family doesn’t have enough money to send her and her sister to school?

Well, good news! Utusan Borneo said that on the 24th of July, the two girls finally stepped foot into their school for the very first time in 3 months. This happened because of all the kind Malaysians who donated to them, and now she has this chance to start again and take her SPM exam this year.

She said that she is very thankful to the public because now, her father can finally send them to school. She also expressed that she’s very excited and eager to learn, and the first thing she’ll do in school is to study hard and pay full attention to the teachers!

The original Twitter thread has amassed 15k retweets, and the owner of the account says that multiple people have also reached out to help the family with means other than money.
