The van plunged nearly 100 feet after skidding off the road

The group of Malaysians had landed in Tamil Nadu a few days earlier to visit several tourist spots and spiritual sites, as reported by DT Next.

They were travelling in a tourist van along a hilly stretch when the driver reportedly lost control.

The van skidded off the road, smashed through iron barricades, and plunged nearly 100 feet into a gorge.
