Suicide rates have been going up worldwide every year. Despite efforts to spread awareness and offer support, the increasing suicide rates highlight the pressing need for effective strategies to prevent suicide and help those who are vulnerable.
In a recent study shared by @seasia.stats, Malaysia has been reported to rank 4th in Southeast Asia for suicide rates per 100,000 people, based on statistics that compare countries’ suicide rates.
Malaysia secures 120th globally for suicide rates

“Suicide is a widespread issue”
Suicide impacts people worldwide, no matter their nationality, beliefs, or social status. Mental health issues and physical difficulties can increase vulnerability to feelings of despair, whether temporary or ongoing.
CEOWORLD Magazine is urging countries to address these factors to lower suicide rates, taking into account issues like depression, life satisfaction, academic achievement, health, finances, and economic circumstances.
Let’s work together to prevent suicide rates from increasing. If you or someone you know is struggling, please don’t hesitate to seek help.
