However, this father in China is taking things to the next level by offering a handsome reward of 300+ pigs for anyone who would like to marry his daughter, reported Sin Chew Daily!
Zhang Zhiyuan, a 24-year-old girl from Henan who graduated from university about 3 years ago has returned to her hometown to raise 2,000 black pigs. With the soaring prices of pigs in China, Zhiyuan is considered a very “marketable” woman with lots of prospects.

On weekdays, Zhiyuan will clean the pigsties and feed the pigs. In the mornings, she will also sell pork in the market. As the demand for pork has gone up this year, Zhiyuan has been very, very busy! She says:
“People think that raising pigs is not a decent job and it is such a simple thing to do but I don’t agree with it. In truth, it is not and I have been applying the things that I have learnt in university on this job.”
She also explained that her parents and siblings are very reluctant to let her work in the pigsty as she is a university graduate. They expect her to go and live in a big city while working a high-paying job. However, she insisted on working on the farm to take off some of the burden off her parents’ shoulders.

It is said that Zhiyuan’s sister, Yuanyuan, also helps out at the farm when she has time off. Yuanyuan is married and Zhiyuan has been receiving tons of confessions from men who are interested!
When asked about her criteria for a spouse, Zhiyuan says that she doesn’t have a lot of expectations, but she wants someone who is at least able to lift the weight of half a pig.
