Almost every tourist has gone through at least one experience, where a rude restaurateur simply refuses to make things easier for their customer – like what this foreigner was made to face in Penang.

Taking to TikTok, this is a video of what he experienced during dinner time.

Attempting to order nutmeg juice at the restaurant, here is what this tourist experienced.

“Avoid this man in Malaysia. I’ve never tried nutmeg juice.”

Attempting to order it, the staff at the restaurant did not understand what he wanted and they did the worst thing you could do to a customer – they simply shrugged him off.

Thinking that it may have been an off menu item or they simply did not take the time to understand what he wanted, they called the manager to arrive.

“I’ve tried ordering the nutmeg drink for the third time.”

The manager was having none of it, and simply wanted him to leave because he did not order any drinks that will allow him to sit in and eat his dinner.

Understanding that he is made to leave, the tourist responded: “I understand that I have to order a drink to sit, I asked you already for the fourth time that I wanted a nutmeg drink.”

Pointing to the board, where the nutmeg drink was written, he continued: “You are pretty rude to be honest.

Having told that it was sold out, the tourist was left fuming.

“Why didn’t you tell me that it was sold out. Instead you’re really rude.”

Netizens came to the rescue, apologizing to him on behalf of the restaurant, stating that they too have never tried nutmeg juice.

What are your thoughts on the matter?
