Sometimes it is easier for human beings to feel love for animals rather than each other, witnessed from a plethora of videos showing how compassionate pets and their owners can be towards each other.
For most of us, images of dogs and cats showing affection may be a bit too cliched today, but what if we told you that this affection goes beyond your usual selection of lovable fur babies – say a goose.
Seeing is indeed believing. Taking to Twitter, @AtukNature shared a video of him hugging and showing some love for his pet goose Seman.
He writes, “It has been a while since I last visited Seman. It is a good thing he still recognizes me.”
In his tread, he also shared another video of Seman doing what goose do best by striking his brother who wanted to hug him earlier but was not successful in doing so.
Though Seman may seem to be the only one able to show affection for human beings, it appears that videos of people and their goose-ly encounters have made its way on social media.
One netizen shared a video of a pair of geese enjoying their day strolling around their owner’s home.
“This is Awang and his wife, taking a casual stroll to our back house.”
For some of us kampong folk, we know too well why we have an innate fear of goose. Who knows, with the knowledge that they can be domesticated, they may be a viable alternative to a guard dog!
