It’s the first day of school for Standard 1 students today (1 March) and it’s probably a new experience for most of them. While going to school could be fun and exciting, it also could be nerve-racking and scary for these little ones.

Some kids might just cry or refuse to cooperate, but this little boy decided to run away!

Runaw

In a video circulating on social media, a boy in his school uniform can be seen running as fast as his little legs can carry him. Even his school bag on his shoulders would not stop him from trying to escape.

Not to mention, the boy was running uphill, but he never stopped even when the man recording the video hollered at him. The man can also be heard panting and struggling to keep up with the boy.

Shortly after, a woman on a motorcycle managed to catch up with the little boy and placed him on the bike to bring him back. The boy can be heard crying as he admitted defeat.

Further details of the incident have yet to be revealed, but many netizens were quick to express their amusement at the scene.

Many noted how fast the boy was running that the adult chasing him couldn’t even keep up. Others commented that the boy could be a cross-country runner.

  • “Somebody give that kid a medal”
  • “Funny, but also pitiful seeing that boy”
  • “Oh my god, remembering my kindergarten days… I and my father walked to the door of kindergarten, I ran away because I was afraid of one of the teachers in kindergarten”
