Ustaz Ebit Lew needs no introduction when it comes to his philanthropic work – from saving stranded students, helping the unfortunate to his recent endeavor of helping out school bus drivers in need, he is indeed EVERYWHERE.
Answering the plight of out-of-work school bus drivers affected by schools’ closure due to the pandemic, Ustaz Ebit Lew lent 250 drivers with basic home necessities to ease their burden.
Looking to inspire others to lend a helping hand, he took to Facebook and shared his perspective on the matter.
“I was deeply moved when bus drivers came up to me and asked for my assistance. I helped them out by giving 250 affected drivers necessities. I gave some money to a few others.”
“For the year 2020, there were only six months where they could earn a living. Imagine six months to cover a year’s worth of expenses.”
“I likened them to brothers and sisters. Mothers and fathers. This was all I could do. Many expressed their gratitude, asking for prayers to ensure they make it through.”
“Without them, imagine how difficult it would be for parents to send their kids to school. They made it easier for most of us to ensure that our kids become the best form of person they could be.”
“This is their test. Let’s do our part by offering prayers and helping them out.”
