An accident involving 3 cars took place in Gurun, Kedah on the morning of 6 July 2024.
An infuriating video of that accident circulated on social media platforms and in less than 24 hours, the clip has already garnered more than 600,000 views.
In the dashcam footage of what seems to be a 2-lane highway, a lorry was on the right lane, and a trailer was on the left lane.
When the lorry finally passed in front of the trailer, the car behind the lorry switched lanes without adequate space, pushing the trailer.
At the same time, the Perodua Alza at the back of the trailer used the emergency lane to try to overtake the trailer.
This caused the driver of the trailer to lose control over their vehicle as they tried to evade both cars.
As a result, the trailer crashed into the innocent Perodua Axia while the Perodua Alza spun and ended up in a ditch.
This video has angered many as they condemn the driver who stubbornly switched lanes even when there was not enough space.
“Hope the authorities will give heavy punishments to the 2 drivers. They are the ones that caused the accident between the lorry and the Axia.”
“Hope the one who cut in front of the lorry will get caught.”
