Ipoh is arguably one of the best spots for vacation in Malaysia, and those who often visit the town will never miss Qing Xin Ling Leisure and Cultural Village, the hidden paradise for those who are seeking a quiet time in nature.
The peace was disrupted yesterday when a falling rock hit a tourist bus driver, which killed him on the spot. The 44-year-old tour guide was showing the tourists around when the incident happened, according to a police statement by PDRM in Ipoh.
“The victim suffered serious injury on his head and died at the scene. The injury on his head was the cause of his death as revealed by the forensic experts.”
PDRM said the case has been classified as a sudden death. In a report by Sin Chew, the management of Qing Xin Ling confirmed that the place is closed indefinitely.
In the meantime, the police also urged the public to come forward if they have any relevant information pertaining the accident.
