This Mat Salleh in Perak Sells Hungarian Street Food From A Food Stand!

Most of the time, if you want authentic European cuisine, you’d have to go to a fancy, expensive restaurant or go to, well, Europe.

But who knew you could get bona fide Hungarian street food in Perak?

Drnadya Amin Shah took to her Instagram account to showcase ‘Lángos’, a food stand in Kampung Telok Bakong, Perak, run by a Hungarian man who serves Hungarian street food.

She wrote, “For those staying in Perak, it’s mandatory that you try this!”

Lángos is actually a Hungarian street dish made from fried bread.

“Lángos is a Hungarian food, it’s delicious like Cakoi,”

“When we went in the afternoon, the wind was chilly and the food was hot, it was the best experience. The village atmosphere along with the people, who were very friendly! I highly recommend this place for those who want to walk around and look for food,” she shared, adding that the food stand is a little far but well worth the journey.

So, what are you waiting for?

Here’s your opportunity to try Hungarian street food without even having to leave Malaysia.

Lángos in Malaysia is located at Batu 14 3/4 Kampung Telok Bakong 32600 Kampong Telok Bakong, Perak, Malaysia.
