This hopeful Thai man thought he had found the love of his life, but unfortunately, in reality he’s got himself a gold digger who fled after accepting his dowry. In other words, a bij.

The poor guy is a 32-year-old man named Boonchuay Moontham, and he works at a factory.

On September 3, he met his beautiful fiancée, Arisa at a market in Nava Noakorn area, Thailand. It was love at first sight, or so he thought.

Soon, they began seeing each other and not long after, Arisa introduced him to her parents. Wah so fast!

Clearly Arisa has no plans in taking things slow because after just three weeks, her family made a ridiculous demand. To prove that he was serious about the relationship, he must propose to Arisa if he wants to continue dating her.

“I offered THB20,000 (approx. RM2,530), but her mother wanted THB50,000 (approx. RM6,340). So I accepted and withdrew another THB30,000 (approx. RM3,800) from my bank account. We got engaged on September 24,” Boonchuay said.

Right after the engagement, the heartless Arisa immediately revealed her true colours. She never showed up again and would only speak to him through phone or the LINE chatting app.

Besides, he was promised by the family that after the engagement, he could move into their house but obviously that didn’t happen.

That was the wake up call for him as he believed Arisa may have cheated his feelings and ran off with the dowry. He soon lodged a police report.

Recalling the night of the engagement, Boonchuay actually said he caught Arisa texting another man. Kantoi!

However, she dodged the bullet by saying that since they weren’t married yet, she was allowed to chat with anyone she wished.

Perhaps the most surprising thing was that he went along with the ceremony the next morning, even after what had happened the night before. I guess love really is blind!

The police are now trying to locate Arisa’s whereabouts and is speaking to her mother to facilitate the investigation. Although he failed this one, we hope he’ll be more careful with his next one. We wish him best of luck in his future relationship.

Guys, if the girl is pretty, also don’t need to fall head over heels like that. Always be careful!
