Many of you might have recently come across the adorable video of elephants casually making a pit stop on the back of a truck at a petrol station.
A Reddit user shared a video showing 2 elephants hitching a ride on a Wildlife and National Parks Department truck from the National Elephant Conservation Centre, at a petrol station.
They’re too adorable!
The video, showing the elephants standing still in the truck with only their heads tilting slightly as they look around, has amused many netizens and quickly captured their attention.
The caption of the post reads,
“Strangest thing you’ve seen at a gas station.”
One lucky eyewitness, who happened to be at the right place at the right time, decided to capture the unusual moment on video, giving others a glimpse of what was witnessed.
Why were the elephants being relocated?
While it’s definitely a rare sight to see elephants casually cruising on a truck at a gas station, one user shared an interesting theory about why the elephants were there.
According to the comment, the user speculated that the elephants might be being relocated by the Wildlife and National Parks Department due to flooding in some areas.
To clarify where the elephants came from, WORLD OF BUZZ found out that they were actually part of Gamuda’s Wetlands Wonderfest, which took place last weekend in Kuala Langat.
Netizens couldn’t help but share their reactions upon seeing the adorable creatures.
We could say there were 2 trunks in the trunk… Yes, pun intended!
