Everyone loves a good sale, and with Raya just around the corner, everyone’s rushing to buy new clothes to celebrate the festivities at a fraction of their original price. However, there’s also an alarming trend that comes with sales, and that’s making an absolute mess in stores. Seriously? We’re better than this, guys!

In a tweet posted earlier this week (11th June) that soon went viral, a netizen called out shoppers for their inconsiderate behaviour in clothing stores.

The user posted a picture of shoes scattered all over the floor right next to the shelves where they were displayed. C’mon guys, just put them back where you found them, lah!

Soon after the tweet began to circulate, another user who retweeted it revealed that he’s actually an employee at this particular store. The employee explained that the worst part is when the store gets so messy that staff almost always go home at 1am after spending so much time cleaning up and putting items back where they belong.

Other netizens responded to the employee’s tweet, apologising for this inconsiderate behaviour. Others working in retail also shared similar experiences in dealing with messes left behind by customers. Haiyo!

Come on, let’s do better than this and be more considerate to people working in retail, guys! Next time you go shopping, put the item you’re no longer interested in back where you found it!
