According to the post, the scar was either slit with a blade or burned open with flame. The poor animal also had open burns on her legs and infected wounds on her paws, possibly caused by the jagged edges of her smashed toenails, resulting in her staggering with a limp. It seems that her front right leg was broken as well. Poor doggo

The retriever was found with her mouth tied shut, unable to eat or drink. When the rescuers finally cut away the bindings, they found her mouth filled with scars swelling with infection. Our hearts can’t take this!

The rescuer also penned a heart-wrenching message in Korean. Here’s the brief translation of the passage:
“I am eager to treat you. There are many traces of abuse, here and there. Even though you can heal through your injuries and illness, please be strong.”

The dog has since been given treatment, including laser surgery. Her wounds have also been treated and her mangled leg has been bandaged.
Pictures show her sleeping peacefully and she seems to be recovering slowly but surely.
