Living in an apartment building can have its challenges as compared to an individual title terrace house, you have to share common areas and facilities with other residents.
Sometimes, your fellow neighbours may not see eye to eye with you or worse, they may act selfishly and treat these shared facilities as their own.
Take this recent sharing by a Sarawakian for example. Living in a flat in the state where the parking area is public, she shared how a fellow resident reprimanded her for parking her vehicle at a spot that they had ‘reserved’.
Shared by Anieyta Baharum on Facebook, she also attached an image of a piece of paper she received with a note saying,
“Last warning! Please don’t park here! We can come home at any time and won’t have anywhere to park. TQ.”
In the caption, Anieyta asked netizens for clarification, sarcastically saying that she only found out that the parking at her flat residence belongs to the “ancestors” of the person who wrote the warning.
In the comments section, netizens chimed in with their thoughts on the matter, most of which criticised the person who wrote the warning as selfish for “chupping” a spot at public parking.
One commenter said that the individual who wrote the warning has a “condominium appetite” for someone living in a flat. Meanwhile, another netizen urged Anieyta to reply to the note with a notice from the municipal council saying that one can’t reserve a spot in a public parking area.
So, what do you guys think of the incident? What would you do if you were in Anieyta’s situation? Share your thoughts with us in the comments.
