She was brought to Shah Alam district police headquarters while her dog was handed over to Shah Alam City Council.

According to Mohd Iqbal, he said the woman entered the country four years ago for a vacation but did not manage to return to her country of origin due to the Covid-19 pandemic.

“She also had insufficient funds to return home. She tested positive for THC and has been remanded until Oct 22.”

ACP Mohd Iqbal urged those with information to contact investigating officer Sjn Mohammad Shamsul Md Salleh at 017-5453234.
