According to SCMP, Li was discharged from the hospital two weeks later and was given instructions to stay in a quarantine hotel for 14 days. However, just two days after the left the hospital, Li complained that he was not feeling well. Mei said Li was suffering from dry mouth and gaseous stomach.

He was sent to the hospital on March 2nd as he was still feeling sick and passed away that afternoon. The cause of death listed on Li’s death certificate confirmed that he had died from Covid-19 and listed respiratory blockage and failure as the symptoms which could have led to his death.

One of Wuhan’s makeshift hospitals, Fangcang Hospital, had issued an emergency notice on Wednesday (March 4th) announcing that more discharged patients had been readmitted after falling ill again. To make sure that the patients are fully recovered, the hospital said that they will conduct antibody tests on all patients before discharge. They should have done that in the first place!

The coronavirus has travelled to all four corners of the globe and currently, there have already been 95,418 confirmed cases. There are over 53,000 cases that recovered so far and over 3,200 deaths. China has been hit the hardest, with over 80,000 confirmed cases and over 52,000 recovered.

That’s really scary! The man should’ve been checked properly before he was discharged!
