A Malaysian man’s intention to prank a kid recently by twisting some words took an unexpected turn when the prank was reversed.
In a viral TikTok clip by @zaharzbubu7, the man, Zahar playfully asked an unsuspecting kid on a scooter about “Kepala Budak” (kid’s head), twisted words from Kelapa Muda (Coconut water). The twisted word would have expectedly sent chills down the kid’s spine, or at least got him curious, but not in this case.
“Kepala Budak? My dad sells it!” he told Zahar while pointing him to a direction.
Wait, what?
Zuhar then tried to ask more about Kepala Budak, but the innocent kid proceeded to explain to him about the price.
“RM6 per cup. RM7 for an iced one.”
In an attempt for another prank, Zuhar tried asking the kid if his father sold Kaki Budak (Kid’s leg), to which the kid nodded and said, “Yes, it’s available!”
He then asked the kid again about Kaki Budak, to which the innocent child said,
“I don’t know if he has it but you can try getting it from him,” he told Zuhar before riding away with his scooter.
Speaking to WORLD OF BUZZ, Zuhar, who is a tour guide said it happened near Batu Caves, where he wanted to pull off the “Kepala Budak” trend on the kid, and he certainly did not expect how the tables turned.
“What a coincidence”
Zuhar also told WORLD OF BUZZ that it was purely a coincidence and an unscripted conversation between him and the kid because he had no idea about his father’s coconut business before the prank had gone wrong.
“I didn’t know that his father sells coconut water here at Batu Caves.”
You can watch the viral clip below. Let’s just say, we’re amazed at how well the kid delivered his message and tried to upsell his father’s coconut water (not Kepala Budak).
@zaharzbubu7 Haihhh! Bapak dia jual kepala budak, siapa nak jual boleh dm ? #fypp #kepalabudak #kakibudak #lawak2
The next time you’re getting a coconut drink, try not to say Kepala Budak by mistake!
