During these trying times, many of us are doing whatever it takes to support and help those who are closest to us. And Malaysian violinist, Endang Hyder, is doing the same.
Just a few days ago, Endang took to Twitter to look for a buyer willing to purchase her violin in order to support her dad’s medical expenses. In her tweet, which has now garnered over 1,000 likes and 2,000 retweets, she explains that her dad has just lost his other leg, and since his arm is not in good condition either, Endang is trying to raise money to buy him a good wheelchair.
Salam, I've asked alot from https://t.co/7rnKSwoozr & currently ayah lost his other leg & thus I need to come up with a good wheelchair since tangan ayah pun dah tak berfungsi dengan baik. I will let go my violin below the asking price, I just ask please help me to get a buyer. pic.twitter.com/VL5lokVzkS

She mentions that she’s willing to sell the violin below the asking price (the violin is currently valued to be about ~RM20,000!) so long as someone is willing to buy the instrument off of her. The violin comes with a full new set of Evah Pirazzi Gold strings, two bows, a high-grade carbon bow, Gustave Bernardel rosin, and a BAM Hightech case, too.
I've set fully new string and it will come with Evah Pirazzi new sets gold string edition, two more bows a high grade carbon bows, Gustave Bernardel rosin & this BAM hightech case to secure her to the best safety

Many have taken notice of Endang’s predicament and have offered to help her in many ways, from suggesting places where she could get free and affordable wheelchairs to offering help raising funds for her situation.
But speaking with WORLD OF BUZZ, Endang Hyder explains that she isn’t looking for funds or donations and that all she wants is to sell her violin to support her dad.
“Recently a few people came up to me and suggested to set up an online performance where they might gather people with minimum tickets to pay like RM1 per person,” she tells us.
“I’m overwhelmed with this plan by them but at this moment I received nothing but good suggestions on how I can actually get money and fund my dad without selling my violin.”
Hopefully, Endang manages to raise enough money to get that wheelchair!
