The victim, Ho Yan Fee, 75, was from Pandan Perdana, Cheras, according to Berita Harian. Zulkefly added that the incident happened on a three lanes road and that the victim was riding on the middle lane. He commented,

“Members of the medical team confirmed that the victim died at the scene and his body was sent to the University of Malaya Medical Center (UMMC) for an autopsy,”

The case will be investigated under Section 41 (1) of the Road Transport Act 1987.

Previously on 27 December 2020, the Minister of Science, Technology, and Innovation Khairy Jamaluddin (KJ) hit a pothole in Ulu Langat while cycling. He fell from his bicycle and tweeted about the accident.
