Have you ever gotten into the wrong car when somebody like your friend or parents were picking you up? Of course, things like that can happen when the cars look exactly the same and we forget to check the car plate number.

But to mistakenly enter a stranger’s house and not even realise it until we’re told? Seems quite unbelievable!

Recently, an elderly Nepalese man mistakenly entered a Malaysian’s house and fell fast asleep on the sofa.

The incident was reported to have happened in the living room of a house located near Shah Alam.

A video of the incident was also widely circulated on social media and shows the shirtless man sleeping on the sofa while using a rug as a blanket.

In the video, police can be seen trying to wake the man up while a guy, presumably the home owner, stood watch and waited.

It is understood that the home owner had contacted the police to wake up the man. When he sat up, he appeared very confused.

Shah Alam District Police Chief Assistant Commissioner Mohd Iqbal Ibrahim said his party received information about the incident on October 27, 2022.

“However, the home owner did not want to make a report and no loss of property was reported,” he said.

In the comments, netizens wondered why the house door wasn’t locked and suspected that the man could have been drunk.
