Given the current circumstances at hand with the global Covid-19 pandemic, countries across the world are racing against the clock to come up with a viable vaccine to help stop the disease’s deadly spread. As of today according to Worldometers, 6,704,721 people have been infected by the disease, while over 393,257 have died from it.

But as plans to reopen economies and relax sanctions begin, especially in Malaysia, some kids who have apparently gotten too accustomed to the ‘study from home’ arrangement have taken it upon themselves to make an absolutely horrible and disgusting request.

“Don’t more of you want to die? I’m lazy to go back to school. Please die for my sake. HAHAHAHA.”

Yes, you heard right. As families continue to mourn the passing of their loved ones from this deadly disease, some teens are mocking their deaths out of amusement.

And as you can imagine, the Tweet was not well received among Malaysians, many of whom immediately condemned the teen for poking fun of the grave circumstances at hand. Here’s one who decided to school them.

“Then what else do you want to do at home? You’re already a burden on your parents as it is.”

What makes this all the worse is the fact that there are teenagers who support the original Tweet! Seriously?!

We hope that kids will come to understand that some things are truly not meant to be a joke, as Covid-19 has already claimed so many lives! Not only is it inappropriate, it’s downright rude to be mocking grieving families for your own amusement!
