Time and time again, Malaysians have come to show that our locally made cars are tougher than we actually think. But most famously, many of us will recall the sheer persistence of will seen in the infamous ‘Kancil Buruk‘ that went viral over social media some number of months back. Despite looking like it was going to fall apart at any given moment, that Kancil continued to soldier on and was seen in over three different states!

Well, you’d be very surprised to know that our nation’s favourite little Perodua Kancil has embarked on another adventure, this time on a 1,500km road trip from Malaysia all the way to Laos!

In a post recently uploaded by Motorsports Malaysia, we were introduced to the incredible story of how Azman Ali II managed to purchase an O.G Perodua Kancil 660 for the lump sum of only RM1,500 before embarking on an epic road trip all the way up north.

How far north, you ask? Well, their reliable, faithful little Kancil managed to traverse the length of Northern Malaysia with seemingly little to no effort, and they wound up all the way in Laos in under two days!

Just for reference, that’s well over 1,500km between! OMG!

Along the way, Azman and his wife took some pretty incredible photos of their journey with their little trusty Kancil to share, and we have to say that we are super jealous. With blue skies all around and so much greenery, the turquoise of the Kancil fits right in with the rest of the scenery!

While most people wouldn’t think that a small little car like this would be capable of being a totally expert road-trip machine, the fact stands that their Perodua Kancil didn’t once fail them throughout the length of their journey!

And of course, we’re almost certain that the couple managed to make some beautiful and truly unforgettable memories on the way, which is all that matters when you’re travelling, after all! Their story has since gone viral over social media.

The couple is said to still be on the road seeing new sights, and we wish them all the best as they continue on their trek. It doesn’t take a luxury vacation for you to truly create some incredible memories! All it takes is a trusty little Kancil, and a true sense of adventure.
