If your work requires you to deal with customers, you’re bound to meet different kinds of people who will make your day, or break your day.

Just recently, a Malaysian female passenger went viral after trying to negotiate for a cheaper fare during her e-hailing ride, and for allegedly leaving the driver a “gift”. In a video shared by 暉愚視頻 on Facebook, the driver asked for the fare – RM25 before they were even at the passenger’s destination.

The driver had his reasons why.

He had encountered the same female passenger before who initially refused to pay for the full amount, and her “modus operandi” had gone viral on the group chat of different drivers. The passenger behaved in the same manner with other drivers, which was posted here, and here.

The driver told the passenger to pay before they reached the destination to avoid the same thing from happening. The passenger, however, said that she only had a piece of RM10 note with her.

“I’ll pay the remaining RM15 to you via QR,” she said.

On the way to her destination, she asked the driver if she could only pay RM22, to which the driver refused and politely insisted that she pay the full amount.

It took her some time to browse through her phone but eventually, she managed to pay the driver the full amount.

However, she allegedly “left something else” in the backseat, which the driver only noticed after she had left.

The female passenger allegedly peed in the backseat, as shown in the screenshot that he shared in the video.

According to him, this incident took place in July 2023 but he decided to share the video online after the same female passenger went viral again for the same reason – refusing to pay the full amount to other e-hailing drivers until today.

“I’ve met her twice, and this was our 1st ‘sweet memory’. That’s why I called this the prequel.”

He wanted to share the video in hopes to spread awareness to others.

As for the alleged pee stain in the backseat, the driver had no choice but to clean the mess.

To our e-hailing driver friends out there, have you encountered this passenger?
